Mr. John Keenan of Floral Park (Long Island), New York, leads the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation. During his time with the organization, it has expanded the educational support to the children of fallen Marines and federal law enforcement agents and directed over $3 million in scholarship and other aid a year for the last 10 years.  Jon also volunteers as a guide at the Intrepid Air and Space Museum in New York City. He says he does this to honor all fallen members of the military.

Jon met General Gray several times and says he was an incredible presence. He explained that when General Gray spoke, everyone in a room was ready to reenlist.

Regarding his volunteer work: “It’s a question of giving back,” he said. “Many of us never really leave behind being a Marine and everything it stands for.”
